MEET DR. SANJAY KARUNAGARAN

Dr K and Family (web optimized).jpg

Dr. Sanjay Karunagaran, "Dr. K", grew up in London, England. He attended the University of Birmingham College of Dental Medicine, the oldest dental college in the country. His father is an oral surgeon, which is how Dr. K initially became interested in dentistry.

Dr. K moved to the United States in 2004 to continue his dental education, where he went on to complete a Masters in Dental Materials from Indiana University, a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy, a fellowship in Prosthodontics from New York University, and a specialty residency in Prosthodontics from the University of Tennessee.

Along the way, he met his wife Ahila, a physician who was born and raised in Strongsville, Ohio. They decided to stay in lovely Ohio and are now busy with their toddler son.

Dr. K opened his own dental office in Medina, Ohio, because he wanted to be able to provide top-level care to all his patients. He envisions a practice where his patients feel comfortable and confident in the care they receive.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. "Family and friends are everything to me - being with them is my form of relaxation."
